Hello everyone, welcome to our “Fresh from the drawing board” section. The plan is to always share our new developments here in this format, because they happen quite often. So, let’s get started!
BUSA - SX-K 8
Our SX series covers disc harrows for nurseries and tree farms. We’ve received several new inquiries about having a slightly larger, slightly stronger version. So, we’ve designed it—here it is.
Starting from the bottom up, this machine features disc blades ranging from 510 to 560 mm. Good news on the disc blade front: we can equip the machine with extra strong blades. The standard thickness is 5 mm, but options of 6, 7, and even up to 8 mm are available.
This machine is equipped with 4-blade modules with a 200 mm spacing. The system operates with 4, 5, or 6 blades, with spacing options of 200 mm or 225 mm.
As we move up, more new features come into play. The machine has been equipped with swivel joints, providing a rigid grip and easy angle adjustment with a spindle. Of course, the machine maintains the centerline of the front and rear disc rows, ensuring proper overlap.
Previously, the distance between the two rows could be adjusted by repositioning the disc rows, but for this machine, we thought of creating a simpler setup. The machine essentially consists of two half disc harrows, and both halves can be adjusted laterally in their entirety using two spindles.
The goal was to make it easier to adjust the machine to the prevailing conditions, so we can get the most out of the technology!
