Due to its high pre-load and degressive spring characteristic, the tool only moves in case of overload, but with decreasing tension, thus avoiding damage.
They are used for post-harvest stubble breaking, tending to plowed stubble, and shallow primary tillage.
The basic task of stubble cultivation is to preserve moisture and mix the surface layer of soil with the shallowly buried plant residues. Before harvesting, humidity is high in the dense vegetation, so the fresh stubble is moist and easy to cultivate. The later we cultivate it, the more water we lose, and the harder it becomes to cultivate.
In closed stubble, the level of moisture is stable which makes subsoiling and possible plowing easier and more effective.
The Heavy field cultivator is a machine for soil loosening, crumbling, and mixing. The spring-protected cultivator elements arranged in five rows perform these tasks. We recommend our heavy cultivators with small tine spacing, but the number of tine and spacing is selected by the customer. The individually mounted, spring-protected discs perform clod-breaking, smooth plant residues, and close the furrows of tines.
The large-diameter T-roller at the rear of the machine is responsible for surface finishing and for closing the soil, thus creating an ideal soil structure and preventing moisture evaporation from the soil.
The precise depth control is performed by the depth-limiting gauge wheels at the front of the machine and the rollers at the back.
Thanks to the integrated transport wheel located in the machine frame, the turning radius of the machine decreases while stability increases.
Our Heavy field cultivators are machines for stubble breaking and shallow primary tillage. The spring-secured cultivator elements bring clean soil to the surface from the lower soil layers. The elements arranged in five rows do not clog even on corn stubble.
For precise depth control, the machine is equipped with gauge wheels. After the cultivating elements, a levelling disc element and a large-diameter roller can be mounted to close the stubble.
*Depending on the spacing and quantity of cultivator elements, other variations can also be ordered!”
Our tines have spring-secured element protection.
Thanks to the transport wheels located in the frame, the machine can turn easily in a smaller space.
The gauge wheels at the front of the machine can be adjusted with a tap, and the rollers at the back of the machine can be adjusted with shims. These two elements ensure precise depth control.
