The development of our StalkPuller began with an interesting problem. The task was to remove stalk and root residues from the stubble. Naturally, our first recommendation was the BUSA Rotor in a strip\u2011till configuration, which works well if the goal is to crush the stalks to prevent corn borer overwintering. However, it doesn\u2019t pull out the root balls \u2014 it mostly just shaves them. <\/p>

But if such a tool already exists, why build our own? First, an ocean separates our customer from the available solutions. Second, the row spacing doesn\u2019t match \u2014 30\u2011inch machines would interfere with each other. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

For the initial tests, we built a small prototype, which is perfectly suitable for evaluating the core function. The first impressions are positive, and now we\u2019re pushing it hard to accumulate operating hours before moving on to further development. <\/p>
