The Faragoprojekt’17 Bt. and the Busa Bt.’s joint development of the F-AIRGO air-mixed frost protection machine, we can give our plantation a chance!
During spring frosts, temperatures in the inversion layers (4-30 metres above sea level) are about 10 °C warmer than at the ground surface. The patented solution protects the fruit from frost damage by delivering this warm air to the fruit layer.
The temperature difference between the blown air and the air at ground level is only a few degrees, so the blown air is less buoyant and does not rise. The F-AIRGO can protect 3-4 hectares at a working speed of 8 km/h with a 15-minute return cycle time. power requirement of 60-80 hp.
The transported frost associated with air movement is more difficult to protect against, and frost protection procedures are more effective in the windless so-called “windless” zones. work more efficiently in the event of radiative frost.
It is the first mobile machine in the world to harness the heat of inversion.
The Precision Planting seeding technique on a robust frame typical of Busa™.
The machine, developed by Precision Planting, uses sensors to measure soil moisture, temperature and organic matter content in a series of rows.
With DeltaForce, it automatically controls the depth of sowing on the move, even at high working speeds. Speedtube – using a conveyor belt, the seed moves from the seed hopper to the seed pits in a continuously controlled, fixed path.
The chassis combines the sturdiness and rigidity of American seed drills with the mobility and adjustability required in Europe. The six-row telescopic chassis hydraulically adjusts from a transport width of 2.5 metres to working widths of 45 cm to 76.2 cm.
The machine’s special feature is that it does all this with a patented slider system that minimises backlash due to misalignment by providing a tolerance of tenths of a millimetre.
The six-row frame with its 1.7 t self-weight allows the PP DeltaForce to be used to its full potential, while guaranteeing the load capacity, as the seeder can be equipped with a 2000 litre liquid or 1700 litre granulate hopper.
The cooperation with the domestically owned HariTech began in 2022, during which we equipped their autonomous robot with BUSA™ Rotary hoe elements. The HariBot is a self-driving robot with automatic end-of-row deceleration and positioning for the next row.
The clog-free operation of the device is a crucial aspect of automation. Fortunately, the Rotary hoe proves effective even in dense vegetation and performs its tasks well. The collaborative machine was tested at two locations, both of which were ornamental gardens. We hope that we have succeeded in advancing the development as quickly as possible.
